Sheraton Guilin Hotel

All good specially location , AVON jiang was the best to support from hotel staff . Guided a lot. First time I write any review just because of her.

Location was excellent. Next to the pedestrian street and elephant hill and Pagodas. The hotel is in front of a beautiful wide riverside walkway. Rooms are not as big, but good size. Beds are ok not as confortable as other Sheratons but good enough.Breakfast very good and in a very nice open area.Concierge very helpfull and very nice gentleman ( only little english) The concierge help us book a boat cruise down the Li River for a beautifu scenery and rich landscape culture, and he help us to have a personal driver who pick us up at the end of the cruise at Yangshou and drive is to the Ruyi Peak Ropeway, then drive us back to Guilin.

more better spread for breakfast, more options for vegetarians such as nuts, seeds, Greek yogurt etc.

The price was clearly very different from others, and didn't include breakfast. I will avoid using booking.com especially when in China.

It’s very close to the four lakes, pedestrian streets, the river, a perfect place to enjoy Guilin without a hassle, the breakfast was excellent and it’s also just a stroll away from a lot of local restaurants if you want to try.

The location of the hotel is very good.

I had a room facing the Main Street. The sound insulation of the room is very bad. I was woken up every morning around 7 am by traffic and people shouting in the street.The staff in the hotel reception, bar and restaurant hardly speak English. Bar and restaurent staffs are poorly trained.I had dinner in the restaurent one evening and I ordered a steak medium cooked. It turned out to be completely overcooked. After I complained to the manager, they offered to replace my steak. For the price they charge, it is not worth it.

Location was very convenient. Breakfast was wonderful with a lot of western food items. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool after coming tired from the rice terraces. The room was quite spacious with comfortable bed. I will recommend the hotel to everyone especially for family with kids.

Not too many things to do inside the hotel.

The check-in process was chaotic. The staff couldn't find our booking initially, after they found it and we checked in, we had to wait for our room to be ready. Waiting was fine, but after waiting for half an hour, they were confused as to whether we were checked in or not. There was a J&J event that day, and the staff couldn't handle the crowd efficiently.

Location and the breakfast

My room should be with the view of the garden but they gave me a room facing the street and very far from the elevator, and the equipment was too old specially the bathroom ,the room was very small,they don’t speak English at reception :( only the concierge can speak little bit :p

Noisy. Windows are not double glassed, so constant street noise and neighbouring rooms. Reserved a club level hottub room. No club lounge or advantages and hottub was only a small bath. My bad expected a jacuzzi.

The location was superb, the hotel was immaculate and the staff were were friendly and efficient. We were assisted by Candy at the front desk and she was absolutely brilliant. Thank you.

the room decor was dated and the air con didn't really work. the outdoor swimming pool wasn't heated which wasn't clear from the description, therefore we could not use during our stay. the open view restaurant in the pictures shown is booking only which was not clear from the descriptionoverall, the experience was slightly disappointing

Great location. All main sights are just around the hotel. Standard for mariott class of service which is good. We were during off season, so it was quiet and nice.

The location is absolutely spot on. It is near to most attractions. Loving it

For me and my friends, the down side is that it didn’t have cooling air condition. They told us because it is winter season, it only has heating system and Guilin during our stay was not cold enough to use the heater.

It’s a rather standard hotel, welcoming big groups. The room was fine, without special interest.The swimming pool is very deep and nice, but absolutely no shade, except few umbrellas.Breakfast was ok.We were having a late check out, which was very nice because of late departure of our plane

Check in and check out. There is a lot of customers /groups. It took 30 minutes to check in and even more to checkout. Not enough reception counters open and rather messy.
